Choosing in each 10 Seconds

freedom2

What is it that you truly desire to do or be? What makes your heart sing and your body tingle? Are you doing that in your life now? If you are, what else is possible to take this to the next level? And if you’re not, what stops you from doing or being that?

Too often we allow our fears and doubts to limit our full potential. We are also subjected to the points of view of others and buy into their stories and then use that as an excuse not to step into new and exciting possibilities.

Often the people around us live inside a box of limitations and when you try to step out of the box it makes them feel uncomfortable so they try to pull you back – for your own good, of course.

Take a good look at the box they are living in. By this I mean the ways they limit themselves and what they have created as their reality – are they living the life of their dreams? Probably not – so why would you take the slightest notice of their opinions?

If it’s not other people, then perhaps it’s the voices in your own head. Are you limiting yourself due to a box you have put yourself in and convinced yourself that it’s more secure or easier? This is a distorted perspective because we have to sacrifice who we are and what we truly desire for a false ideal of security. It’s really just familiarity.

When we step outside of our comfort zones we have the chance to create something entirely new. The mind often worries that we will fail or do something wrong, but failure or wrongness is simply a judgement and these judgements are designed to validate the boxed-in reality we inhabit.

In Access Consciousness there is a tool known as Choosing in 10 Second Increments. Instead of agonising over a single choice and worrying if we will make the wrong choice and therefore often choosing not to change, we can simply make a new choice in each 10 seconds.

So you might say: I choose ease and joy . . . pause . . . I choose to create a new job . . . pause . . . I choose to be abundant . . . pause . . . I choose to have harmonious relationships . . . pause . . . I choose to have more ease in my body . . . and so on. Whenever you feel yourself going into the story, the drama, the worry, doubt and fear you simply make a choice, then another and another. It can be any choice that pops into your mind at the time, not the same choice over and over.

This literally rewires your neural pathways because it causes your brain to disconnect from the story and be in a space of brilliance and possibilities. It also takes the pressure off you to make one choice that is “right”. The more you stay in this space the more open you are to possibilities and the less inclined to fall back into old patterns.

Have fun playing with this tool, until next time . . .

Blessings

What are you making Significant?

shrug2

When we make something significant in our lives we create a limitation and give it no space to change or evolve. Let me give some examples of this:

In our society we make ageing significant, we worry about lines and wrinkles and deteriorating eyesight and failing bodies. What if each day was just another day and we had no point of view about ageing? Would we still age at the same rate? No, we would not, because there would be no judgements and beliefs to hold the concept of ageing in place, there would be nothing shaping that reality, so we would be free to create something completely different.

Another example of significance might be a person who causes dis-harmony in your world, perhaps a family member who is always interfering in your life. And every time you have a family gathering you worry about how to handle this person and stress about the chaos they will cause. You might complain to others about it leading up to the event, lose sleep over it, consider not going and feel more and more stressed as the family gathering approaches. Do you see how you have made this person significant and therefore given them power over you?

What if this person was just an Interesting Point of View? What if you had no judgement about the drama they created? What if you just didn’t make it significant at all? Do you see how you would no longer be giving away your power to something outside of yourself?

Another perhaps less obvious way we make things significant is this: Let’s say you think you have the perfect relationship, yet in truth it may not be ‘perfect’ because often we ‘pretzel’ ourselves to fit our ideal of what a relationship should be anyway, and in concluding its so called perfection we actually limit the possibility for change and expansion.

If you approach your relationship with no significance you might say, “My relationship is great today,” and then ask “What else is possible with this relationship?” and continually be in the space of expansion and new possibilities, that way the relationship will never be stuck in your perception of ‘perfect’ and it can continue to evolve.

The best way to stop making things significant is to first be aware that you are doing it. Just reading this article may already have you thinking about a few areas of your life that you have made significant, and once you realise that you can change it.

To do this you can use the Interesting Point of View tool from Access Consciousness. Every time you notice yourself making something significant, when you are going into the drama, or when you are creating a limitation through judgements and conclusions you simply say:

“Interesting Point of View. I have that Point of View.”

Say this over and over a few times to release the charge of energy you have around the issue. This helps you to come out of judgement and creates much more ease and peace in your life.

What if you used this tool when looking at current political events? We can rail about this unfairness and that injustice, but what if we look at it all as just an Interesting Point of View. And what if current circumstances on earth were just a way to facilitate change and by having no judgement about them we can create more expansion instead of trying to fit ourselves into an old box that no longer serves humanity.

What if you kept asking “What else is possible with this?” and what if that simple question opened up new possibilities for you and me and the entire planet?

Are you willing to notice where you are making judgements and conclusions and simply allow it to be an Interesting Point of View?

It wasn’t meant to be – or was it?

shrug

When things don’t turn out the way we desire a very common expression is to say “it wasn’t meant to be” and, I admit, in the past this phrase used to freely roll off my tongue like the slippery little lie that it is.  Yet, what are we actually saying when we utter these words?

I see this statement as a way of pretending that you are less than you are and that you don’t have the ability to create what you truly desire.  It’s an excuse to sink into a state of lack of awareness and diminish your greatness.

Here’s the thing – you are an infinite being, therefore:

  • If you desire it, then have it.
  • If you desire to do it, then do it.
  • If you desire to be it, then be it.

YOU create the possibilities for yourself, not the universe or god or some other being. To think otherwise is to give away your power.

Instead of saying “it wasn’t meant to be” ask yourself if you truly wanted it in the first place.

If not, then acknowledge that. Be honest and admit that you chose not to create that right now. Stop lying to yourself and pretending that something else is directing your life and that you have no say. (You’re an infinite being remember!)

If you did truly want something and it did not turn out the way you desired then shift from victimhood (it wasn’t meant to be) to empowerment (I’m having this! I don’t know how yet, but I’m having it). Then start asking questions – What else is possible? How can I change this? What awareness can I have about this? What would it take for me to have this?

In Access Consciousness we call this “Being in the Question”. You are inviting the universe to respond to your request and you will find that new awarenesses and possibilities start to show up.

Asking questions does not mean that you must then seek answers. This will get you caught up in the mind and will limit your possibilities. Stay in the energy of the question.

Another aspect of the statement “it wasn’t meant to be” is when we desire something but are not willing to step beyond our comfort zones to get it. It’s an easy excuse to say “it wasn’t meant to be” and then give up because change seems too daunting.

Every time you hear yourself say “it wasn’t meant to be” stop and consider the lie you just told yourself and tune in to your actual truth.

  • Did you really want it?
  • Did it just appear different than you expected?
  • Were you unwilling to step beyond your comfort zone in order to have it?

The more you catch yourself saying “it wasn’t meant to be” the more you can choose to eliminate this victim statement from your vocabulary and become more aware and empowered in your daily life.

Tarot Readings for Personal Empowerment

shuffleIt is often expected that Tarot readings are solely about predicting future events which can be daunting if there are fears and doubts about one’s future, and disempowering if a person simply expects a Tarot reader to tell them what to do.

To me, the Tarot is a wonderful tool for healing and transformation. It is a visual depiction of various elements of a client’s life that can be used to discover what lies beneath the greatest challenges and what potentials are available to create the best outcomes.

A Tarot reading is a road map based on your life, a Tarot reader is your travel guide, but YOU always remain the driver.

A good Tarot reading should empower you to make choices based on the information revealed. You are invited to see the pitfalls and potholes before you reach them and envision possibilities that you may not have previously imagined.

Remember, that nothing is ever set in stone. Too often people hold desperately to a belief in “destiny” and then WAIT . . . and wait . . . . and wait . . . for the Universe/God/Angels etc to provide them with a better job or a loving relationship or improve their lives. In doing so, you are failing to acknowledge yourself as a creator being who has the tools, the freewill and the ability to create all that you desire.

Therefore, on this roadmap we call a Tarot reading, you get to see where you are right now, what has lead you to this point, and where you can get to from here. With this information, all is required is that you take a step toward your desired destination. One step can truly change your reality.

Are you disempowering yourself by WAITING for destiny to fix your life, or are you ready to be empowered and CREATE your own destiny?

Connecting with All That Is

all that isTheta Healing – Part Three of Three

Over the last two months we have taken a look at various elements of a Theta Healing session including Belief Work and Downloading Feelings. This month, in the final article of this series, we will look at the energy healing part of the session.

This is where we start to bring all the other components together. We have assessed the client and what they want to achieve  and tapped into the stuck belief systems that need to be released. We then use Muscle Testing to confirm these patterns and then choose the feelings that are to be downloaded. Then the client takes to the massage table and the energy healing begins.

The Theta Practitioner is trained to enter the Theta Brain-wave state by connecting with All That Is/Creator/Source (or whatever terminology suits them). They then connect with their client which automatically bring the client into the Theta state as well.

A Theta state is a very relaxed, meditative, somewhat trance-like state where the brainwaves are slowed to a frequency of four to seven cycles per second. Theta brainwaves govern the subconscious and therefore our memories and sensations, attitudes, beliefs and behaviours.  Vianna Stibal, the creator of Theta Healing, calls it the ‘God-consciousness’ state.

From here a practitioner will begin the process of ‘reading’ the body, energy clearing, releasing psychic hooks and cords, wayward spirits and any energies that do not serve the client. Every practitioner is different and will have their own process, but for me personally, I will be intuitively tuning in to where energy is stuck and what needs to be released and I will begin to make choices about what needs to happen during that particular session. For example, are there curses, oaths or vows to be released, are there past life issues, are there issues relating to coming in to the physical body in this life, do the chakras need clearing, and so on. And there are myriad potentials here that are far to vast to mention.

As this energetic work is taking place, the client is relaxed, yet fully conscious, although occasionally people do drift off a bit. It is common for them to have random memories of people or places, to smell things, see colours or shapes, feel odd sensations in the body or actually feel energy releasing, because we are working at a sub-conscious level.

At this point, the practitioner also clears the relevant belief systems, and downloads the feelings that  were agreed upon in the earlier part of the session. They will be guided to areas that require healing and a client’s guides may even make themselves known.

At the end of a session the old belief systems are muscle tested to ensure they have been cleared.

No two healing sessions are ever the same. The entire process is guided intuitively by co-creating with the client and All That Is/Creator and therefore takes place in the highest and best way.

The level of healing that occurs is entirely up to the client, for no healer can bring about transformation unless the client has chosen that for themselves at some level. But as someone who has studied many different types of healing for the past 30 years, Theta healing is one in which I have seen and experienced the most remarkable results. While it may be that my own skills and abilities have vastly improved over the years, I do believe that this method of healing goes beyond so many others that I have worked with.

Belief systems are at the core of everything we do, so if we can dissolve those beliefs, the sky truly is the limit.

Beliefs Become Reality

brainTheta Healing – Part One of Three

You may have heard of Theta Healing yet not actually know what it is, how it works or how it might be of benefit to you so over the next few months I will be presenting a three part feature on this amazing healing modality.

There are various elements to Theta Healing which is why I have chosen to divide this subject into three segments. In this first we will be focusing on a technique known as Belief Work.

These days more and more people are becoming aware that thought creates reality, they have heard of the law of attraction and understand that the ‘vibes’ they send out to the world around them have an impact on what they attract into their lives.

I’m talking about more than just positive thinking here—which is a little like putting a band-aid on a broken leg. For example, someone who has experienced abuse as a child might suffer from depression as an adult and thinking positive thoughts might help to lift a person’s spirits temporarily, but it doesn’t address the deeper unresolved issue.

It’s these deeper issues that are sending out a ‘vibe’ or frequency that attracts similar energies which often brings more abuse, more depression and anything else that might resonate with that particular energy.

In this situation, belief systems have formed and been firmly planted in the mind and may include things like—I am not good enough, people always abuse me, I am not worthy of love, I am afraid of trusting people and so on.

Many turn to therapy and counselling which often tends to recycle these energies and can take years to bring any significant resolution.

How do you change this? How can you transform this energy easily?

That’s where Theta Healing can help.  By taking the client through a short simple exercise where we access the sub-conscious mind, we are able to intuitively access the ‘root belief’ that holds all the other related beliefs in place. The practitioner can then replace this belief with a more empowering one which allows a complete and total transformation of this energy. It happens very organically, is not stressful or confronting for the client and involves no forcing of energy or recycling the past.

The practitioner facilitates this shift by going into a Theta brain-wave state and connecting with Source/Creator and then connecting with the client – which automatically brings them into a deep meditative state – and this provides a relaxed, open and responsive environment for this graceful shift of energy.

In my classes I often talk about thoughts and beliefs being energy, and energy can be changed, transmuted, transformed, recreated and uncreated. And this ‘Belief Work’ technique transmutes that old unresolved energy instantly, allowing the client to experience a deep shift.

This alters their ‘vibe’ or frequency and reduces the possibility of recreating the old situation of abuse or depression etc. Then, when you add the other elements that are part of a Theta Healing session, you will see that this makes for a very powerful and successful healing modality.

Next month in Part Two – Pathways to Freedom we will be discussing the Theta technique of working with ‘Feelings’ or ‘Downloads’ which involves reconnecting the energetic pathways of the brain to help prevent old patterns repeating and to open up new potentials.

How can Theta Healing help you?

Theta Healing can help you release limitations and improve aspects of your health, relationship, finances, spirituality and life in general. From addictions, phobias and weight issues to gaining confidence, developing intuition or specific skills and allowing greater joy and abundance into your life.
